Good Shepherd Anglican Church is located in Canberra with two campuses in Curtin and Barton. The church was planted from Deakin Anglican Church in 1964 to serve the new suburbs around Woden, initially meeting in Hughes Primary School before completing its current buildings in 1971. The church is evangelical in character and welcomes people from all backgrounds, cultures and nations. Their mission is to help all people know, love and live for Jesus. The church is financially independent, relying on member giving. They offer multiple weekly services including Modern Prayer Book, Contemporary Family, and Contemporary services, with some streamed online. A Karen Language Service is held on the first Sunday of each month. The church maintains a staff team including a Locum Rector, Associate Minister, Children's and Youth Ministers, and other support roles.
