About Islington Baptist Church

Islington Baptist Church is a growing, multicultural community located in Newcastle, New South Wales. The church is shaped by God's love in Christ and is committed to sharing the good news of Jesus with Newcastle. They value people of all ages and cultures, the Bible as God's living word, and gathering together to explore life's deeper questions. The church's primary purpose is to make disciples of Jesus who are growing in love for God and one another. As a Baptist church, they are congregation-led and part of the broader network of Baptist Churches in NSW and the ACT. Their gatherings blend contemporary and traditional elements including contemporary songs, ancient creeds, Bible talks, and fellowship.
