St. Peter's Anglican Church

About St. Peter's Anglican Church

South Head Anglican Parish comprises St. Michael's, Vaucluse and St. Peter's, Watsons Bay, offering three distinct Sunday services across both locations. The parish welcomes all people as a hopeful and warm community of faith. Under the leadership of Rector Rev. Matt Aroney, the parish is supported by a team of paid staff and volunteers including assistant ministers, children's ministry leaders, and community chaplains. The mission focuses on knowing and enjoying friendship with Jesus, growing in worship and service of God, and witnessing to Jesus' mercy and grace. Both locations feature organ music and children's programs. The parish operates on principles of pastoral care, community involvement, and spiritual renewal.
