Melbourne Unitarian Peace Memorial Church
Melbourne, Victoria
Melbourne Unitarian Peace Memorial Church, established on 29 November 1852, is one of the oldest religious organisations in Victoria. Located at 110 Grey Street, East Melbourne, the church imposes no creedal demands and follows the motto 'Seek the Truth and Serve Humanity'. The church welcomes all who support social justice, environmental protection, democracy and world peace. Sunday services feature music, inspiring words and addresses on peace, environment, social justice, democratic rights and non-party political issues. The church believes religious organisations have a responsibility to address issues affecting people. Those seeking a church with a different approach to traditional Christian practice are invited to attend.
