St Peter's Catholic Church

St John Paul II Parish comprises two Catholic church communities: St Peter's Catholic Church located at 581 Toorak Road in Toorak, and Our Lady of Lourdes located at 631 High Street in East Prahran. The parish serves the Armadale and Toorak areas and is led by Parish Priest Fr Dean Mathieson. The parish community gathers for celebration of the sacraments, sacred liturgy, formation, outreach, and cultural encounter. Regular activities include Sunday and weekday Masses, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary, and the Sacrament of Confession held during the week. The parish offers wedding services, parish events and activities, volunteer and ministry opportunities, and a sacred music program. The parish has a rich historical significance dating from the earliest Catholic presence in Armadale and Toorak.
