Santuário Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a Catholic sanctuary located in Boqueirão, Curitiba, Paraná, established in 1954. It is dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and serves as one of the most important centers of Marian devotion in Curitiba. The sanctuary is named after Mount Carmel, with the word Carmelo derived from Hebrew meaning Vineyard of the Lord. The Carmelites have venerated Mary since the 12th century as a model of contemplative life and evangelizing mission. The sanctuary promotes devotion to the Brown Scapular, representing Mary's protective mantle over her children. Regular activities include perpetual novenas on Wednesdays, the Siege of Jericho on Fridays, daily masses, confessions, live broadcasts, virtual candles, and prayer requests.
