The Anglican Diocese of British Columbia, known as the Diocese of Islands and Inlets, is a local expression of the Anglican Communion serving Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands of the Salish Sea, the Broughton Archipelago, and Kingcome Inlet through forty-five worshipping communities. The diocese is committed to living out its baptismal covenant to respect the dignity of every human being and to safeguard the integrity of God's Creation. It understands itself to be at the beginning of the long road to Truth and Reconciliation and seeks to welcome all of God's children as beloved.
