St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church is the oldest Ukrainian Catholic parish in Winnipeg, established in 1899. Located at 737 Bannerman Avenue, the church has been under the direction of the Basilian Order of St. Josaphat since 1904. The current church building was blessed on July 10, 1966, and the adjoining monastery-residence serves as the parish office, clergy residence, and headquarters for the Order of St. Basil the Great in Canada.
