West End Christian Community Church

West End Christian Community Church (WECC) is a non-denominational, charismatic, Bible-believing Christian church located in Winnipeg's West End at 221 Hampton Street, one block west of Berry in St. James. The church is led by a team of Elders and emphasizes vibrant, participatory worship with Bible-based teaching. About six years ago, WECC embarked on an 'off-road adventure' by restructuring their gatherings to balance large group and small group expressions of church. They now meet in their building on some Sunday mornings for celebration, communion, and prayer, while meeting in smaller home groups called WECC Church Houses across the city on other Sunday mornings.
