St. John Vianney Parish is a Roman Catholic church located in Barrie, Ontario, serving the south end of Barrie and the town of Innisfil. Built in 1989, the parish is home to approximately 3,000 families and serves one high school and six elementary schools. It is part of the Archdiocese of Toronto and is under the leadership of Pope Francis. The parish is staffed by priests from the Carmelates of Mary Immaculate (CMI) order. The parish is named after Saint Jean Marie Vianney, an 18th-century French pastor known for his devotion to the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.
