St Gregorios Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church is located in London, Ontario. The church is named after Parumala Thirumeni, also known as Geevarghese Mar Gregorios of Parumala, who lived from 1848 to 1902 and served as a Metropolitan of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church. He was the first person of Indian origin to be canonized as a saint by the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church in 1947, and was later canonized by the Syriac Orthodox Church in November 1987. The church is led by Rev. Fr. Cherian Paulose.
