St. Mary's Syriac Orthodox Church is the first Malankara Syriac Orthodox (Jacobite) Church in Canada, located in Mississauga, Ontario, a suburb next to Toronto. Known as the Little Church with Big Blessings, the church was established in August 1983 with the consent of the late Archbishop H.E Mor Athanasius Y. Samuel of the North American Archdiocese. The first Holy Qurbana was conducted by the late H.G. Thomas Mor Dionysius, Catholicose of the East, assisted by Very Rev Fr. Jos Thomas. The church is part of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church hierarchy, with its spiritual leadership under Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II and Diocese Bishop H.G. Yeldo Mor Theethose. The congregation offers worship services, Sunday school for children's spiritual development, a church choir, and various community organizations including the Marthamariyam Samajam.
