First Romanian Baptist Church

First Romanian Baptist Church is a Romanian Baptist congregation located in Laval, Quebec, Canada. The church was informally constituted on October 1, 1995, following the model of New Testament Baptist churches from Romania. It was officially opened on July 12, 1997, in the Laval-des-Rapides district. The church building, located at 123 Boulevard Cartier Ouest, was purchased in November 2001 and renovated from a former fast food restaurant, with construction completed and the facility officially dedicated on November 30, 2003. The church is affiliated with the Romanian Baptist Association of the United States and Canada and the Canadian Baptist Convention of the South.
