Beacon Community Church

Beacon Community Church is located in Bradford, England, serving the Wibsey community and surrounding areas. The church was founded in 2011 through the merger of Slackside, Wibsey and Central Avenue Church, Little Horton. It is part of the Wesleyan Reform Union of Churches. The congregation provides God's word through worship, communion, Bible studies, children's activities and pastoral support. The church describes itself as a welcoming place with strong ties to the local community and hosts numerous community events. In 2023, the church reopened its Community Centre following an extensive refurbishment programme. Pastor Tony Brown, who began his role on 1st July 2025, leads the church alongside his team. The church offers various activities including a worship band, parent and toddler group, men's group, Bible at home groups, friendship group, pilates classes, community choir, and chatty crafters.
