St Francis of Assisi and Immaculate Conception is a Catholic Church in Bradford, England, covering the suburbs of Eccleshill and Idle. The parish was formed through the amalgamation of two separate churches in 2006. St Francis' Church at Eccleshill opened in 1928 as a chapel-of-ease, designed by Edward Simpson, and became a separate parish ten years later. It was extended and reordered in 1974. The Church of the Immaculate Conception was established as a parish in 1955 and opened in 1960, designed by R A Ronchetti, with interior reordering in the late 1970s. The content indicates that church buildings were closed from March 23, 2020, in compliance with government instructions, with masses subsequently live-streamed from Leeds Cathedral.
