Church Of The Holy Nativity
Bristol, England
The Church of the Holy Nativity is a parish church located on the A37 Wells Road in Knowle, Bristol, England. The church is recognizable by its distinctive green copper spire and is visible from many places throughout Bristol. Originally, a wooden Chapel of the Holy Nativity was built in July 1865. The current stone church building was first consecrated in 1883 to serve the growing population of Knowle and Totterdown. The site was donated as a gift to the local community by Mr. S Goolden, who established the church on Anglo Catholic principles. The church remains affiliated to The Society and is under the care of the Bishop of Oswestry. In 2015, the church celebrated 150 years of Christian witness.
