About Orthodox Church of St. Athanasios

The Orthodox Church of St. Athanasios is a Greek Orthodox parish located in Cambridge, England, under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain. Established in 1968 by the late Archbishop Gregorios, the church serves the religious, educational, and social needs of Greek and Greek Cypriot communities in Cambridge and surrounding areas. The community operates as a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees, with additional committees overseeing school operations and charitable activities. The church offers regular services predominantly in Greek, with efforts to provide English-language sermons and readings. Services are streamed live via the church's Facebook page. The community also maintains a refurbished hall available for hire to local organizations.
