Gloucester National Spiritualist Church was founded in April 1954, evolving from earlier spiritualist meetings held in a rented room on Russell Street. The church relocated to Montpellier before settling at its current location following a group split regarding National Spiritualist Union affiliation. The current building was opened on 31st March 1962 on land offered for sale in June 1959. The Good Friday Circle has been held annually since 16th April 1954. The church has undergone various improvements including gas central heating installation in 1979 and water supply installation in 1981. Located in Gloucester, England, the church welcomes visitors and continues to operate according to principles of Spirit, Love, Peace and Harmony.
