St James The Great Church

St James the Great and Our Lady and St Nicholas are Anglican churches serving the areas of Birstall and Wanlip in England. The churches work alongside Methodist and Roman Catholic communities in the area. Their vision is to be an open Christian community where people feel loved, respected and free to be fully themselves. The churches offer multiple weekly services including Holy Communion, Morning Prayer and Evensong. They host various activities and groups for community members, including a Welcome Space offering tea, coffee and cakes on Tuesday afternoons at St James and Friday afternoons at Wanlip. Additional activities include a Mothers' Union meeting and seasonal events such as the Wanlip May Fair.
