Church of St Michael in the City

St Michael in the City is a Church of England parish church located in Liverpool city centre, at the heart of the Chinatown, Ropewalks and Baltic Triangle areas. It is part of the Team Parish of St Luke in the City. The congregation is described as small, friendly and multi-racial, with members ranging from 0 to 90 years old. The church hosts a Christian Youth Group on Tuesday evenings from 4:30 to 6:30 PM for ages 11-16. The church also operates Community Garden groups and activities in partnership with Faiths4Change. The church offers services for weddings, baptisms and funerals, and space hiring is available. The church has received funding from the Linda McCartney Foundation for a garden project focused on encouraging young people to experience vegetable growing.
