St Clement Danes is the Central Church of the Royal Air Force, located on the Strand in London. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the church has a 1000 year history. It serves as a national perpetual shrine of remembrance to all those who have died in service in the RAF. The church holds the Books of Remembrance for RAF service members and displays unique RAF artefacts from its 100 year history and treasures from the old parish. The church is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00. It features an award winning professional choir and hosts special services throughout the year including Battle of Britain, Remembrance, Easter Services and carol concerts. The church welcomes members of the RAF family for services of Holy Matrimony, Baptisms, and Memorial and funeral services.

St Clement Danes is the central church of the Royal Air Force, rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren in 1682 and lovingly restored after severe damage in the Blitz. Its floor bears the crests of RAF squadrons, and its bells ring out the famous Oranges and Lemons nursery rhyme from the strand.
