Highfield Trinity Methodist Church is part of the Sheffield Methodist Circuit, which was established on 1st September 2013 through the merger of eight former circuits covering Sheffield and parts of North East Derbyshire and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough. The circuit operates according to four core callings: worship to increase awareness of God's presence and celebrate God's love, learning and caring to help people grow as Christians through mutual support, service to be a good neighbour to people in need and challenge injustice, and evangelism to make more followers of Jesus Christ.
