Above Bar Church is a vibrant church located in Southampton, England with three congregations. Two congregations meet at the city centre site in the heart of Southampton, while the East congregation meets at Woodlands Community College in Harefield. The church seeks to live out its calling to make and mature disciples of Jesus. Above Bar Church offers a Ministry Trainee Scheme, described as a year of intentional growth, hands-on experience, and spiritual formation designed to develop ministry leaders and followers of Jesus who are rooted in spiritual disciplines, growing in biblical understanding, and learning to make, mature and mobilise disciples of Christ. The church emphasizes three core values: Loving God, Following Jesus, and Sharing Hope. The church also offers homegroups and online services for those unable to attend in person.
