The church has a long legacy of worship and mission in the city centre and is currently undergoing revitalisation following a period of decline. Working in partnership with Testwood Baptist Church, it aims to rebuild and reimagine what church could look like in the city. The church describes itself as a welcoming and faithful community rooted in God's Word, centred on Jesus, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, committed to loving God through worship and prayer, loving people through care and hospitality, and sharing the good news of Jesus.
