Roker Methodist Church

Roker Methodist Church is part of the Sunderland Methodist Circuit, a group of 8 Methodist churches located in and around Sunderland in the north east of England. The circuit covers an area 8 miles north-south and 6 miles east-west, including the city of Sunderland and surrounding communities. Roker Methodist Church is one of the churches cared for by Rev John Purdy, who also oversees the Methodist Churches of Fulwell and Castletown. The circuit aims in Christian love to encourage members in God's work and support new developments in church, worship, and the wider community. The circuit shares resources and skills to support individual churches as they worship, work and witness within their communities. A preaching plan is available for the circuit covering March to May 2026.
