Newman Hall Catholic University Halls of Residence

The Catholic Chaplaincy in Cardiff is located at 62 Park Place in the heart of Cathays Park Campus and serves students and staff from Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, the University of South Wales, and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. It provides an oasis of calm with facilities including a lounge with kitchenette, a hall for celebrating the Eucharist, and spaces for pastoral guidance and social events. A full-time chaplain is available for support. Newman Hall, adjacent to Nazareth House on Colum Road, is a Catholic hall of residence offering 20 en-suite rooms for undergraduate and postgraduate students from Cardiff universities. While residency is open to those of any faith background, residents are expected to be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos and are encouraged to participate in community life and worship.
