St. Alphonsa Forane Church is a Syro Malabar Catholic parish located in Sultanpalya, Bangalore, Karnataka. The first holy mass was celebrated on Christmas Day 1990 at Sri Aiyappa School premise in Muni Reddy Palaya by Late Rev. Fr. George Nedumpalakunnel. The parish was established to serve the community seeking to worship in the Syro Malabar Rite using the Malayalam language. The new church building was consecrated on July 15, 2018 by Mar Antony Kariyil, Bishop of Mandya Diocese. The church is known as 'Bangalore's Bharananganam'. Construction was funded primarily through parishioner contributions without incurring debt. The parish operates catechism classes with approximately 230 students, conducts annual St. Sebastian feast celebrations in January, and maintains several pious associations including the Society of St. Vincent de-Paul, Pithruvedi, Mathruvedi, CYSAC, and CML.
