St. Mary's Orthodox Syrian Church is located in South Bingipura, Begur Koppa Road, Bangalore, Karnataka. It belongs to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church under the Bangalore Diocese and is the first church established after the formation of the Bangalore Diocese, making it the 12th Orthodox Church in Bangalore. The church traces its spiritual lineage to St. Thomas the Apostle and is an autonomous, autocephalous Indian church. The current Vicar is Rev. Fr. Zakariah Mathew. The church consists of 345 members across 91 families and operates various organizations including Sunday school, Youth Movement, Students Movement, and Marthamariyam Samajam. The Madhbaha features three thrones dedicated to St. Mary, St. Gregorios of Parumala, and St. Geevarghese Mar Dionysius of Vattasseril. The main festival is celebrated on August 15th in memory of St. Mary.
