St Joseph's Bethlehem Church Chullickal is located in Kochi, Kerala. The church name derives from the Chullickal family who donated 61 cents of land for the Christian community. The area was previously known as Chakamparambu. A thatched shrine was erected in 1868, followed by a small chapel in 1883. The present Indo-Baroque style church was constructed in 1889 by Mattancherry Church with support from local faithful and initially served as a sub-station parish. Though dedicated to St. Joseph the Worker, it is known as St. Joseph's Bethlehem Church due to its location at the eastern boundary of Nazareth Parish. The church serves as an active parish with various ministries including catechism education, faith formation programs, and community outreach activities.
