About St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church & Shrine of St Jude, Thevera

St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and Shrine of St Jude is located in Thevara, Kochi, Kerala. The church is the first in Kerala to offer novenas to St. Jude in Malayalam. Every Thursday, thousands of devotees visit to present their petitions or offer thanks for received favors. According to the church's teachings, St. Jude intercedes through the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus to provide aid to those in need, particularly in desperate cases. The parish operates under the patronage of St. Jude the Apostle and St. Joseph the Worker. The church offers daily masses and regular novena services, with special emphasis on Thursday devotions and English language services on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
