Mateer Memorial CSI Church is one of the oldest Protestant churches in South India, located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The church was dedicated on December 1, 1906, and is situated in the heart of the city within the L.M.S Compound. It is part of the South Kerala Diocese of the Church of South India. The church's history is connected to the Protestant Missions in South Kerala, beginning with William Tobias Ringeltaube's arrival. The church is named after Rev. Samuel Mateer and has served the Christian community for over a century. The church building and its historical significance have been documented through photographs from 1906 and records of early church leaders.
