St Lukes Church

St. Luke's Church is located in Anna Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The newly rebuilt church is described as one of the most beautiful churches in the country and world, serving a parish family of approximately 1200 families with 4000 parishioners. The church houses one of the largest monstrances in the world, standing 16 feet in height and 9 feet in diameter, made from 2 tonnes of gold-plated brass castings studded with pure white and garnet red cubic zirconium stones. The Blessed Sacrament is kept open for worship from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the morning and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening. The church offers masses in both English and Tamil on weekdays and Sundays, along with various spiritual programs including novenas, charismatic prayer meetings, and faith formation classes.
