Open Table Metropolitan Community Church is an ecumenical Christian church with specific outreach to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) families and communities. The church provides a safe space of worship for people of all genders and sexualities, as well as various faith traditions including Catholic and Protestant. Open Table MCC emphasizes that love is its greatest moral value and that resisting exclusion is a primary focus of its ministry. The church holds regular Sunday worship services and other liturgical and non-liturgical services including outreach programs, educational seminars, and community talks. Since 1968, MCC has been conducting Holy Unions for same-sex couples and LGBT+ couples who wish to have a ceremonious wedding.
