Eastern Hills Baptist Church

Eastern Hills Baptist Church is located in the Forest Hills community of Montgomery, Alabama. The church began in the late 1950s as an outreach ministry of Capitol Heights Baptist Church, starting with a small group meeting in a tent on a hill in the Forest Hills area. The current sanctuary was constructed in the early 1960s, and the church grew to become one of the largest churches in Montgomery. The Christian Life Center was added in the 1970s and 1980s, along with remodeling of the original sanctuary into educational space. The church extended its outreach ministry by sponsoring Taylor Road Baptist Mission in the 1980s and established a Christian day care with before and after school programs. The church's mission is to be a community of believers who Love God and Love People. The church offers various ministries including children's, student, young adult, adult, senior adult, men's, women's, and music programs, along with a live stream option for sermons.
