Franciscan Renewal Center

The Franciscan Renewal Center, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a Catholic retreat center founded in 1951 by the Order of Friars Minor. Originally called Casa de Paz y Bien, it remains an active religious community dedicated to following the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. The center operates cooperatively with the Diocese of Phoenix. Its mission focuses on renewing lives through spiritual growth, healing, transformation, and service to others. The Center offers daily and Sunday Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Church, private retreats, spiritual direction, faith formation programs including family, youth, young adult and adult ministries, individual therapy and counseling, support groups, education events, and volunteer ministries serving the poor and vulnerable. The facility hosts meetings and conferences for religious and nonprofit organizations.
