Archangels Michael and Gabriel Coptic Orthodox Church is a Coptic Orthodox Christian parish located in Fresno, California, and is part of the Diocese of Los Angeles, Southern California, and Hawaii. The Coptic Orthodox Church is one of the most ancient Christian churches in the world, founded by Saint Mark the Apostle in the first century. The church has carefully preserved the Orthodox Christian faith in its earliest and purest form throughout the centuries. The parish believes in the Holy Trinity and that Jesus Christ is the only Savior of the world. The church adheres to the Nicene Creed and emphasizes apostolic doctrines and traditional patterns of worship. Father Philemon Nashed serves as the priest for this congregation. The church welcomed visitors to explore its services, theological education, pastoral care, and various ministry programs. A grand opening celebration was scheduled for Sunday, July 14th, 2024, at a new church location.
