The Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno is an intentionally inclusive and progressive religious congregation that welcomes people of all ages, religious backgrounds, spiritual beliefs, cultural origins, abilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and economic circumstances. The church believes all people are worthy of love and deeply interconnected. It emphasizes individual spiritual exploration without requiring members to hold specific beliefs about God or religion. Members may identify as Christian, Humanist, Pagan, Buddhist, Jewish, agnostic, or other traditions. The congregation gathers to nurture spiritual journeys, explore life's meaning and purpose, and work toward justice and healing in the world. The Flaming Chalice serves as the symbol of Unitarian Universalism, representing the light of love and reason in all people. The church operates both online and in-person services.
