Pacific Coast Ministries

Pacific Coast Ministries is a church located in Oxnard, California, founded in spring 2004 by Pastor Merrick Carter. The church began after God impressed upon Carter the calling to start a new work in the Oxnard area, following his initial resistance and his previous role as Southern California Divisional Evangelical Evangelist with The Salvation Army. The church offers two Sunday services with contemporary praise worship. Beyond Sunday services, Pacific Coast Ministries provides weekly Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM with refreshments and childcare. The church operates women's and men's ministries, hosts a potluck lunch on the last Sunday of each month to celebrate birthdays, and offers communion on the first Sunday of each month. Additional programs include a prison ministry, children's ministry, and corporate prayer meetings. The church is described by members as welcoming and family-oriented.
