Shiloh Church of God In Christ

Shiloh Church of God In Christ is located in Oceanside, California and has been serving the community for over 60 years. Founded in 1964 by Elder Mance and Sister Ethel Buchanon, the church held its first service on April 26, 1964, in the Buchanon family home. The church became officially incorporated on May 29, 1964. The first service in the permanent building was held on May 16, 1965. Under the current leadership of Elder/Dr. Michael N. Henderson since 1998, the church has expanded its ministries to include Greeters, Sound and Media, Altar Workers, Follow-up, Missions and Outreach, Small Groups, School of Ministry and Leadership, Academic Tutorial, and a Community Development Corporation. The church operates multiple outreach programs including food distribution to needy families, military ministry, nursing home visitations, and partnerships with international organizations.
