Pye Lakwa Christian Center

Pye Lakwa Christian Center is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut at 310 Bishop Avenue, Unit D (Rear). The name Pye Lakwa means Foot of the Cross, representing the church's spiritual foundation in Jesus Christ's redemptive work. The church emphasizes salvation through contact with Christ's blood, forgiveness and prosperity through spiritual cleansing, protection and peace under Jesus' shadow, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Founded in May 2020 by Rev. Renel Richardson, Rev. Dayard Jerome, and Rev. Davidson Dagrin, the church emerged from a Christian study group that began in March 2002. The three co-pastors, who had previously served together in Boston, established Pye Lakwa Christian Center to address the need for capable leadership in local churches that values intellectual capacity and professional expertise. The church holds Sunday services from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
