Mt Zion Bible Church Chapel Library

Mount Zion Bible Church is a Christ-centered local church located in Pensacola, Florida, established in 1979. The church was founded by Pastor L.R. Shelton, Jr. and Mrs. Shelton and currently has approximately 100 attendees. The church is not affiliated with any denomination and bases its doctrinal statement on the London Baptist Confession of 1689. Mount Zion emphasizes expositional preaching, conservative hymns, evangelism, and Biblical manhood and womanhood. Worship services are age-integrated and include prayer, Scripture reading, hymn singing, Christ-centered preaching, and submission to God's Word. The church oversees several worldwide ministries including Chapel Library, Mount Zion Bible Institute, Spurgeon Gems, the Free Grace Broadcaster magazine, Mount Zion Prison Ministry, Studies in the Scriptures, and JohnBunyan.org.
