St Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church Atlanta

St Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church Atlanta is a Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church located in Cumming, Georgia, near Buford Highway. The church belongs to the Diocese of South-West America and follows Syrian liturgies and traditions based on Indian culture. The church building was holy consecrated on October 8-9, 2023 by Malankara Metropolitan His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III. During the consecration, holy relics of St Gregorios of Parumala and St Dionysius of Vattasseril were installed. The parish patron saint is Mar Gregorios of Parumala, the first canonized saint of the Malankara Indian Orthodox Church. The church traces its spiritual lineage to St Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ, who came to India in A.D. 52. Evening prayers with special intercession are held on first Saturdays monthly.
