Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral is located at 1121 North Leavitt Street in Chicago, Illinois. The cathedral was designed by renowned architect Louis H. Sullivan and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as of 1976. It was designated an official City of Chicago Landmark in 1979. The cathedral has been recognized as one of Chicago's Most Interesting Churches by CBS 2 Chicago and featured in Chicago Magazine's Insider's Guide to Ukrainian Village. The parish operates a mission to serve as the Beacon of Orthodoxy in Chicago. The cathedral offers guided tours on selected Saturdays and can accommodate private and group tours by special appointment. The interior features an iconostasis, altar with furnishings, bells, candles with symbolic meaning, a sacristy and vestry, and clergy. The cathedral also operates a kitchen-based ministry that serves neighbors.
