Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Good Shepherd is a WELS Lutheran church located on the northeast side of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, next to Kennedy High School. The church describes itself as a place to experience God's undeserved love, welcoming people whether they are exploring faith for the first time, returning after time away, or seeking to grow closer to Christ. The congregation gathers around God's word to be reminded of his care and equipped to share his love with neighbors. Good Shepherd proclaims the gospel to its neighbors by following Christ, nurturing the found, and seeking the lost. The church offers live stream worship services and maintains an active community with programs including Summer Bible Camp and Advent by Candlelight events.

Good Shepherd's parking lot is currently accessible via a temporary route through Oakland Church's parking lot due to 42nd St NE being closed to through traffic. Access is available through a temporary gravel drive located between the playground and dumpster.
