First Zion Baptist Church

First Zion Baptist Church is located in New Orleans, Louisiana at 7201 Olive Street. The church was originally established on December 1, 1887 as the Tin Top Church by Stevens Bryant and his Liberty Street members at the corners of Liberty and Lafayette streets. The church has been led by several pastors throughout its history, including Reverend Folsom, Reverend Thomas Columbus, and Reverend E.B. Fisher. Currently, Pastor Donald Ray Berryhill, Sr. leads the congregation. The church offers Sunday School at 8 AM and Worship Service at 9 AM on Sundays, as well as Bible Study on Tuesday afternoons and evenings.
