St Thomas Indian Orthodox Church

St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church of Baltimore is part of the Malankara Indian Orthodox Church founded by St. Thomas, the apostle of Jesus Christ. The church worships the Holy Trinity and follows the Nicene Creed established in the 4th and 5th centuries. As an Oriental Orthodox Church, it maintains good ecumenical relationships. The first church building was consecrated in 2001 and renovated in 2017. The congregation celebrates the Feast of St. Thomas on July 3rd and 4th. The church offers various ministries for children, students, youth, men and women, emphasizing traditional liturgical worship that dates back to Christianity's earliest disciples. Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday. The church provides opportunities for fellowship, study and service through prayer meetings held at the church and members' homes.
