About Swedenborg Chapel

Located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Swedenborg Chapel represents the Christian tradition rooted in the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg, an 18th-century theologian and mystic. The Swedenborgian Church emphasizes spiritual renewal, inner transformation, and a personal understanding of Christian faith through study of scripture and Swedenborg's theological writings. Like other Christian churches, visitors can expect worship services centered on biblical teachings, prayer, and community fellowship. The denomination is known for its thoughtful approach to theology and its openness to spiritual inquiry. Members gather for regular worship, spiritual development, and service to others. The chapel welcomes individuals seeking a reflective Christian experience grounded in both traditional faith and Swedenborgian insights into the nature of God and spiritual life.
