Salem Covenant Church

Salem Covenant Church is located in Worcester, Massachusetts. The congregation originated in the late 19th century during the first wave of Swedish immigration to Worcester, becoming First Swedish Evangelical Congregational Church in 1896. The church was renamed Salem Square Covenant Church in 1949 and relocated to its current location on East Mountain Street in 1968. The church operates on land originally inhabited by the Nipmuc tribal nation and acknowledges this Indigenous history. Salem Covenant Church shares in the inclusivity and love of God, the incarnational power of Christ, and the action and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The church welcomes community members as fellow faith travelers and emphasizes lives of service and care in response to Creator, Christ, and Spirit. In-person worship occurs on Sundays, and online services are available through their YouTube channel.
