St. Paul Lutheran Church

St. Paul Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod located in Bay City, Michigan. The church believes in the inerrancy of the Old and New Testaments and teaches that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all humanity and rose again for salvation. Services include the sacraments of baptism and holy communion practiced according to God's command and consistent with earliest Christian tradition. The church is led by Pastor Dennis W. Matyas, ordained in 2012 and holding a Master of Divinity and Sacred Theology Master from Concordia Seminary. St. Paul Lutheran School educates the whole child academically, socially, physically, emotionally, creatively, and spiritually. The church engages in community outreach through Prison Ministry, Quilts for Shut-ins, and Trunk or Treat events.
