St George Antiochian Orthodox Church

St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church is a parish of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America located in Troy, Michigan. The church's mission is to serve God in the Greater Detroit Area through commitment to the Gospel Command and to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ through faith, hope, and love. St. George Church follows the faith and practice of the Apostles and Disciples of Christ as handed down by ancient Christian fathers and twenty centuries of Church tradition. The church emphasizes that genuine Christian life nurtures and stimulates spiritual and moral development. Led by V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Antypas, the parish offers various ministries including youth activities, religious education, and community fellowship events.
